Takeaways for Chicago's weather:
1. Some Spring Snow
2. 50s But Blustery Friday
3. Dry But Colder Weekend
Some sun returns on Friday as highs warm back into the lower 50s but it will be blustery. Winds could gust over 30 mph with a little light rain possible in the afternoon. Rain will change to snow Friday night and it could come down heavy for a brief period. Some graupel (a dippin dots-textured frozen precipitation) could mix in at times too. Some sun mixed with clouds this weekend but falling from the middle 40s for highs Saturday to the lower 40s Sunday. Even colder along the lakeshore Sunday with highs not getting out of the 30s. Some more light snow could mix with rain Monday night into early Tuesday morning. — Tim McGill
